Celebrating the release of Strong God, the live stream event will not only debut several new videos from the album, but Egan, Asbury and the others will be answering questions from a worldwide internet audience. Listeners/viewers around the world are encouraged to join in, sending their questions via Twitter using the hashtag #NewLifeStrongGod and addressing them to @NL_Worship, or via Facebook at www.facebook.com/newlifeworship.
In addition to streaming at NewLifeStrongGod.com, WeAreWorship.com, PraiseCharts.com, AllAboutWorship.com and other sites will also be hosting the live stream for their respective online audiences.
New Life Church in Colorado Springs, CO, is known for originating some of the best-loved anthems being sung in the U.S. church, including songs like "Overcome," "Great I Am," "I Am Free," "Your Name," "My Savior Lives" and many more. Continuing its 20+year legacy, the church's New Life Worship offers 12 songs to encourage the body of Christ to stand up and proclaim that God alone is strong on its live recording, Strong God.
For Strong God, worship pastors Brad Parsley and Egan (Desperation Band) introduce the next generation of New Life worship leaders and songwriters, while collaborating with well-seasoned leaders and writers like Asbury, Michael Farren, Jason Ingram, Meredith Andrews and Mia Fieldes. The resulting album, produced by Michael Rossback (Gungor, Paul Baloche) and mixed by Paul Burton (Snow Patrol, Athlete, Delirious?) and Ben Gowell (Jars of Clay), features the title track and first video that can be seen now at http://bit.ly/12Fe0Ny.
"'Strong God' is really a banner for and over our church," continues Egan, who wrote the song along with Ingram and Andrews. "Father to the fatherless, Defender of the weak… With us in the wilderness, Faithful to provide. It reflects our heart and vision for our church and our community."
In addition to the Strong God CD and DVD, a "deluxe" CD/DVD will also be available as a long-form video at iTunes and on an iTunes LP® that includes bonus resources and more.
